An AHA Training Site operates with the same authorization of an AHA Training Site. We support businesses, hospitals, colleges and independent AHA instructors throughout the country as they strive to provide high quality CPR classes, BLS, ACLS and PALS courses to their students. Has a business legal name
Teaches AHA courses in accordance with the official AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC
Train more than a combined 100 people each year
Owns and maintains all equipment needed for teaching AHA courses, including manikins that meet feedback device requirements (equipment may not be borrowed from the TC)
Maintains knowledge of and effectively uses AHA Training Network applications, such as the AHA Instructor Network, eCards, eLearning, or eBooks

Become an American Heart Association CPR Instructor
If you would like to become an AHA instructor for CPR, BLS, ACLS or PALS, we want to make it possible and as easy as it can be. The only requirement is that you must have a current provider card to become an instructor. To sign up for one of our online instructor courses, hit the learn more button below!
Become an ACLS/PALS or BLS Instructor
National AHA Training Center
Have current AHA provider status in the discipline for the associated Instructor Course and be proficient in all the skills of that discipline.
Successfully complete the Instructor Essentials Course for the discipline for which you are becoming an Instructor, including both the online portion and the classroom/hands-on session.
Complete the 2020 AHA Guidelines Instructor Update eLearning Course for the discipline for which you are becoming an Instructor.
Successfully be monitored teaching within 6 months of completing the hands-on session of their Instructor Essentials Course (may require additional monitoring, if needed)
